Literacy Week Events

March 2nd-Mar 6th is TES Literacy Week! We have many fun-filled literacy events scheduled for the week:

March 2nd- March 6th TES Book-Cycle Sale 2 books for $1 (in the Computer Lab)

10:15am-11:15 Workshop for all 6th grade students in Art Room with James Sturm

Wed. March 4th Dress as Your Favorite Book Character Day!

Simon Brooks Story Telling: 10:15am-11:15am All Students

As many of you remember, this is the day when students and teachers choose a favorite book character to dress as. Parade participants should carry a copy of the book their character comes from for the all-school TES parade. Remember: home-made costumes are the best, be creative!

Thursday, March 5th: National Read Aloud Day

Friday, March 6th:
9:30am-10am PJ DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) All Students in the Gym.

All students and staff may wear their PJs and meet in the gym with their buddy class. Please have all students bring enough books to read for one half hour in the gym.
