TES Solar Project

Thetford Elementary School is now able to view the solar energy produced by a fully functional 141 kW (DC) ground mount solar array which was recently installed by the school, February 2015.

An “animated” view of our  solar data can now be viewed in the lobby at Thetford Elementary School. 5th and 6th grade students have been enjoying learning about renewable energy solutions and analyzing the solar data at the links below.

PTO Book-Cycle

The PTO Book-Cycle Sale was a great success! Everyone loved the quality of the books and the great prices. Thanks to the PTO for their help and to all who generously donated such great books!

19 children used Book Cycle “Free Coupons” to pick 2 or more books
A box of books was given to the TES Health Office to keep for students’ use
The Clara Martin Center and the Newbury Clinic received a box of books
The Haven received 6 boxes of approximately 250 books
Latham Library selected a box of books for Latham’s May Book Sale
The TES library stored 3 boxes of books for next fall’s book give-away
The remaining (6) boxes of books are now in the lobby and are free to students
